Bankruptcy judge extension bill heads to Trump’s desk

By Vince Sullivan (December 22, 2020, 7:01 PM EST) — A bipartisan bill extending 25 temporary judgeships on the bankruptcy bench is heading to President Donald J. Trump’s desk after the House of Representatives ruled it out approved late Monday evening.

The Bankruptcy Administration Improvement Act of 2020 passed the Senate by unanimous consent on December 9 after being introduced by Sens. Lindsey Graham, RS.C., and Chris Coons, D-Del., earlier today, and also received summary approval by the House this week.
