LOVELAND, Colo. — Two robbery suspects have been arrested in connection with the theft of a 7-Eleven in Loveland on Friday, the Loveland Police Department said.

Police responded to a report of theft around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday. Employees said two men entered the store with their faces covered, then a man with a handgun demanded money.

The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot, police said. Police said advice from the public helped identify the suspects.

On Wednesday evening, Adam Wells-Soto, 20, and a 17-year-old minor were arrested.

Wells-Soto was being held in Larimer County Jail for aggravated robbery and larceny. The minor was transported to a juvenile prison for suspected theft and robbery.

Police said the investigation is continuing for a third person involved in the robbery who they believe acted as the driver.

Police do not believe the three people were involved in two previous robberies in the city.
