Shot during college football game in East Cleveland

EAST CLEVELAND, OH – A shot was fired outside Shaw Stadium in East Cleveland as two college teams were on the grill.

No one was injured by the gunfire, East Cleveland Police said. Officers were able to quickly locate the people who fired the gun – three women and a man – and take one of them into custody. The woman who claimed to have fired the gun said she had done so to scare a group of miners who threatened to attack them, Cleveland 19 reported.

“It is a total miracle that someone was not seriously injured or killed,” East Cleveland Police said on social media.
